Davis Richardson, the director of droopi, holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture where he received multiple design awards and fellowships. He previously received his Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Harding University, where he was also an All-American baseball player. He has given numerous talks, including a TED talk, appeared on podcasts, and had his ideas and projects appear in various publications.
His architectural interests lie at the nexus of technology and computation, philosophy (specifically, aesthetic theory and object-oriented ontology), and form. He approaches projects of all scales and typologies with rigor and curiosity, challenging architectural norms and conventions.
